
NORRISTOWN, PA — The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office has sworn in seven new deputies, they announced this week.
The new deputies, who hail from across the county, participated in a swearing-in ceremony at 3 p.m. on Thursday at the Montgomery County Courthouse.

- Kyle Crawford, Pottstown, former Montgomery County Corrections Facility corrections officer
- Christian Dobush, Blue Bell, decorated corporal in the U.S. Marines
- Montana Lighthart, Villanova, Montgomery County Municipal Academy and Shippensburg University graduate
- Rubia Lloyd, Norristown, a newly minted U.S. citizen and graduate of the Unicesumar University in Maringa Brazil
- Nicholars Malgieri, Hatboro, certified emergency medical technician
- Thomas Mesunas, Lafayette Hill, first lieutenant in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, Temple University graduate
- James Spencer, Oreland, a graduate of the Montgomery County Municipal Police Academy who also took credit at James Madison University
