7 Norristown Residents Without a Home After Destructive Fire: Report
A fire in Norristown on Tuesday left seven residents without a home, authorities report.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A destructive fire left seven people homeless in Norristown on Tuesday, the fire officials confirmed.
The blaze began in a residence on the 500 block of Stanbridge Street at around 2:30 p.m., according to authorities.
The Times Herald reported that the blaze began on the first floor of the three-story home and quickly spread. Crews had the blaze under control within about ten minutes, but the fire "gutted" the back of the home and left it uninhabitable.

It's not yet clear what started the fire.
The Norristown Fire Department, Norriton Fire Engine Company, Jefferson Fire Company, and Plymouth Fire Company responded to the scene.
