Accident On I-476 Ramp Slows West Conshohocken Traffic

WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — An accident on the I-476 southbound ramp in West Conshohocken caused additional traffic on Wednesday morning as crowds hit the roads for the holidays.

The incident occurred at around 9:52 a.m. on the ramp heading to I-76 and the Blue Route, according to Montgomery County Active Incidents.

While traffic was only moderate beyond the accident as of 11:45 a.m., motorists should still exercise caution in the area.

According to AAA, more than 600,000 Philadelphia area residents plan to travel at least 50 miles or more over the next several days, and nearly 90 percent of those individuals will travel by car.
