ACPPA's 4th Annual Norristown Nutcracker

Norristown, PA - ACPPA Community Art Center, Norristown’s celebrated multi-disciplinary arts organization, is excited to announce their 3rd annual Norristown Nutcracker, to be held on Friday and Saturday, December 18th and 19th, at 7:00pm--East Norriton Middle School (330 Roland Drive, Norristown PA 19401). Want a Tradition Twist? Come enjoy the classic tale of Clara’s magical journey with the synthesis of multiple dance styles, live music, acting, hand-made costumes, and original artwork. Featuring the work of the Art Center’s student talents, the performance comes alive with ballet, jazz, hip hop, piano, guitar, actors age 4 through adults with a range of experience, and many new exciting additions! Highlights of the show include the Nutcracker doll transforming into the Prince, Mother Ginger and her sprightly Pollichinelles, high-energy Russian Trepak Dancers, along with Drosselmeyer and his toys becoming animated and full of life.
