After Norristown Success, Hundreds Gather For Pottstown Neighborhood Revitalization Program
Rock the Block brings 150 students and adults from 11 organizations together in one day to beautify six Pottstown blocks.

POTTSTOWN, PA -- It’s a show of unity by an entire community to lift itself up.
Rock the Block brings 150 students and adults from 11 organizations together in one day to beautify six blocks.
This is the official kick off of Habitat for Humanity’s Neighborhood Revitalization Program in Pottstown to address the borough’s struggles. It’s modeled after a successful Habitat for Humanity program in Norristown.
In four hours, an army of volunteers will repair the exteriors of 12 homes, cleanup and install house numbers on six blocks, and clean the gutters of 10 homes. The effort coincides with Pottstown CARES community cleanup day.

WHEN/ April 15, 8:30 a.m. – Kickoff at 76 N. Franklin Street parking lot, Pottstown
WHERE: 9 – 11:30 a.m. & 12:30 – 2 p.m. Volunteers clean up, paint and make repairs. Locations: 445 & 455 Chestnut, 430 & 540 Walnut, the 300 – 400 blocks of Beech, Cherry and Walnut Streets
