American Songs of Faith

Join us on June 21st @ 4:00pm for our 4th Annual Community Hymn Festival, as we celebrate or Faith through hymns and music unique to America

You’re invited to join us for our FOURTH ANNUAL COMMUNITY HYMN FESTIVAL, “American Songs of Faith” on SUNDAY JUNE 21, 2015; 4:00pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E. Valley Forge Rd ~ King of Prussia, PA

The festival this year will be a celebration of our great God through music and great hymns of the the faith all born right here in the USA!

Featured will be a community choir of close to 40 singers from many churches and denominations around the area.

The combined festival choir we’ll sing four anthems including “Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing” and the ever popular “It is Well with My Soul”

During the festival, all gathered will sing many favorite hymns from “Shall We Gather at the River” and “To God Be the Glory” to “Precious Lord, Take My Hand”, and “Amazing Grace” Also featured will be several hymns by Fanny J. Crosby and William Doane, along with hymns by Herbert Brokering.

The Festival Choir will be directed by Ross Boerner of Good Shephered Lutheran Church, and our guest organist will be Laurie Mueller, Director of Music at Augustus Lutheran Church, Trappe.

The Hymn Festival is FREE to attend, but a good-will offering will be accepted to support the hymn festival program at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

So, plan to attend this exciting 90 min community event either before or after you grill up Dad’s steak on the gill for Father’s Day.
