NORRISTOWN, PA — A water main broke in Norristown on Monday and streets remain closed early Tuesday as crews work to address the situation.
The incident occurred at the intersection of DeKalb Street and Jacoby Street at around 2:45 p.m.
The municipality said Tuesday morning that DeKalb Street and Elm Street would remain shut down until further notice.
Pennsylvania American Water crews are on scene.
Some residents may have lower water pressure or discolored water as workers continue repairs.
Officials have not released an estimate on how long the closure will be in place.
