Arrest Made After Norristown Woman's Body Dumped: Police

Bensalem police have arrested a man in connection with a Norristown woman’s body that was dumped on the side of a Bucks County road Tuesday morning.

Police say he dumped the body of Stephanie Machen, 25, on the side of Mill Road after she suffered an overdose in Philadelphia.

Police believe Machen suffered an overdose inside a house on the 700 block of West Russell St in Philadelphia. Her body was discovered around 10 a.m. Tuesday.

“Once Machen was deceased, her body was transported by vehicle and dumped along Mill Rd,” police said in a statement.

Finnegan confessed to transporting and discarding her body on the roadside, police say.

The case is still under investigation.

Finnegan has been arraigned and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
