Arrest Made In Norristown Double Homicide

NORRISTOWN, PA - Murder charges have been filed against a man arrested on Thursday in the shooting deaths of two young men in a Norristown apartment building, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office announced on Friday.

Obrian Stephen Lewis has been charged with the murder of Quentin Watson Jr. and Marcel Edwards.

Lewis was captured outside of the Park Place Apartments on 721 Sandy Street on Thursday morning.

Watson and Edwards, both 26-years-old and childhood friends, were discovered dead on Thursday morning in adjacent apartments, each having suffered several gunshot wounds.

Lewis will be arraigned at 11:15 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Margaret E. Hunsberger.
