Bail Revoked For Norristown Lawyer Accused Of Rape

Montgomery County Judge pulls $100,000 bail after additional charges were filed against Cirillo.

Vincent Cirillo, the Norristown lawyer who is awaiting a trial after being charged with allegedly raping a client in August 2015, has had his bail revoked due to a new set of charges being filed against him, according to Montgomery County officials.

Crillo's bail was set at $100,000 and has been revoked by Montgomery County Judge Steven T. O’Neill earlier this week, according to Montgomery County District Attorney's Office Director of Communications Kate Delano. Delano said Cirillo’s attorney, Nino V. Tinari, did not object to the revocation.

Cirillo, 57, of Narberth, had new charges filed against him on Sept. 23 after he allegedly impersonated his accuser's attorney to gain access to confidential court documents on Sept. 21, police said in a criminal complaint filed against Cirillo.
