Boy Scouts Collect Food Items For Norristown Charity
Nearly 1600 food items were collected by local boy scouts, cup scouts, parents, and leaders.

Nearly 1600 food items were collected by local boy scouts, cup scouts, parents, and leaders during a recent drive organized by Pack and Troop 303.
The group worked all morning on Saturday, November 19 to collect food donations as part of the event, the annual Scouting for Food collection.
The 1600 items marked a ten percent increase over 2015's haul, organizers said.

The donations will help provide meals for those who face "food insecurities" in the area.
