Bryce Harper Leaves Game After Hit By Pitch
Bryce Harper limped off the field after being hit in the ankle by an errant fastball Friday.

New Phillies superstar outfielder Bryce Harper left a spring training game Friday afternoon after being hit by a pitch in the ankle.
The team is calling the injury a “contusion,” and though the exact severity remains unknown, Phillies manager Gabe Kapler told NBC Philadelphia that Harper is expected to be fine.
Still, it was a frightening moment for Harper and Phillies fans as a 96-mile-per-hour fastball got away from Toronto right-hander Tyler Thornton.

Harper went down to the ground and rolled over in obvious pain before being helped off the field by trainers.
The Phillies are already down two outfielders due to injuries this spring, with Roman Quinn and Odubel Herrera both on the shelf.
