House Catches Fire In East Norriton

EAST NORRITON, PA — A home in East Norriton caught on fire early Friday afternoon, according to multiple sources.

The blaze, located on the 900 block of Fillmore Road near the intersection of Taft Road, was first reported to authorities at around 1:07 p.m., according to Montco Active Incidents.

Smoke was coming from the top story of the building when crews arrived, MontCo Fire Wire reports.

The Norriton Fire Engine Company is joined by Gladwyne Fire Company, Norristown Fire Department, Hancock Fire Company, and others.

It's not yet clear what started the fire or if there were any injuries.
