Butterflies and Bugs
FREE Nature program sponsored by Montgomery County Parks, Trails, and Historic Sites at Lorimer Park on insects, especially butterflies.
Sunday, August 23rdCome and explore the fascinating world of insects. After an introduction to the topic we will use clear bug boxes with magnifying lenses and field guides as we collect and identify insects in the butterfly garden at Lorimer Park. All will be released unharmed. Learn the names and special adaptations of these amazing creatures. Ages: adults and children 3 and up. Free program, but pre-registration is required (215-947-3477) or lorimerpark@montcopa.org. Meet by the ranger hut.
