Classes Now Forming for Kids Summer Art Camp

KIDS SUMMER ART CAMP at Greater Norristown Art League

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mon. thru Fri./ages 6-14

Instructors: Jo Ann Cooksey Bono and Mary Lozinak

9 sessions in June, July and August Cost: $150 per weeklong session

Jo Ann teaches an introduction to basic drawing skills and techniques to improve your artwork from 10 a.m. until the lunch break each day. From 12:15 until 2 p.m., Mary will involve the students in “hands on” projects such as collage, papermaking, tee shirt printing, 3-d design and sculpy clay. Friday’s “Graduation Day” includes an art show, award ceremony and reception for parents, siblings, grandparents and friends.All supplies are included. Students provide their own lunch. A refrigerator is available and the building is air-conditioned. This is the 18th year to run this successful program. Both instructors are professional artists with State Police and Child Abuse Clearances.
