Code Blue Declared In Montgomery County, Beginning This Weekend

Dangerously cold weather is quickly returning to Montgomery County.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Dangerously cold weather is quickly returning to Montgomery County. A Code Blue Declaration will be in place in the county beginning this Saturday and extending through next Tuesday, officials announced.

The freezing temperatures will come after Friday's highs soared into the 60s, following several days in the 40s and 50s.

The dramatic reversal will see temperatures plunge as low as 12 degrees on Saturday night and even lower in some areas on Sunday night, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Snow is possible in the early part of next week, as well, if temperatures remain low enough.
