Coin Counting Event Raises $2k For Norristown Victim Services Center

A unique way to support local victims of crime and their families.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA - As part of its “Bring Change” campaign, TD Bank at Dekalb Pike in King of Prussia hosted a community coin counting event that raised $2,269.81 for the Victim Services Center of Montgomery County. TD matched up to $2,000 in coins counted for the donation to the Center, they announced in a press release Tuesday.

People need compassion both during and after times of crisis. So for 40 years, the Victim Services Center of Montgomery County (VSC) has provided free and confidential comprehensive support services to crime victims, their families and significant others.

The nonprofit also runs education and risk reduction programs, counseling, and training to the professionals who work with the victims. However, due to the limited PA budget, VSC relies on the community’s generosity now more than ever.
