Crews Work to Repair Gas Leak In Norristown
A gaseous odor was detected in Norristown Wednesday afternoon, and officials said that fire crews discovered a gas leak.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Crews in Norristown worked to repair a gas leak on Wednesday afternoon, officials reported.
Norristown fire units worked with PECO to assess the situation, which was first reported at about noon.
The incident occurred on the 200 block of Spruce Street near the intersection with Markley Street.

It's unclear at this time what caused the leak. A gaseous odor was reported in the area, officials said.
