Death Of Graterford Inmate Under Investigation

GRATERFORD STATE PRISON, PA — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after a Graterford State Prison inmate was found dead in his cell last week.

Patrick Henry, 41, had been serving a sentence of seven to 14 years for arson charges in Lawrence County, according to court documents.

Henry was found unresponsive in his cell at around 11:48 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21, officials said.

Henry's cause of death has not yet been released. Last week, authorities said that the cause of death was pending an examination from the Montgomery County coroner.

State police investigate all deaths that occur in state prisons.
