DeKalb Street To Shut Down Overnight Next Week In Norristown

NORRISTOWN, PA — DeKalb Street will be shut down overnight in Norristown next week for a gas main installation, Rep. Matt Bradford confirmed.

PECO crews will shut the road down between Schuykill Avenue and Main Street from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Monday, Sept. 18 through Friday, Sept. 22.

Motorists will be detoured over Main Street and Markley Street, officials said.

Motorists should allow extra time when traveling near the work area. The schedule is dependent upon weather, officials said.
