Eagles Fan Catches Babies During Philly Fire, 'Unlike Agholor'
Even a raging apartment fire couldn't burn the memory of the Eagles loss Sunday from this fan's mind.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — To say sports and life are intertwined in Philadelphia perhaps does not quite do the current state of affairs justice.
A destructive fire ripped through a West Philadelphia apartment building in the early hours Monday morning, leaving five people injured and 10 displaced, according to reports.

Hakim Laws, a former Philadelphia firefighter, was nearby the 1200 block of N. 52nd Street when the blaze began, according to CBS3. Fresh on his mind was Sunday's Eagles to the Detroit Lions loss, just hours earlier. If he wasn't thinking about it as he ran up the steps of the building to help the victims, only to be turned back by smoke, and scrambled back to the ground to help them escape from the windows, he was thinking about it afterwards.
"I see a guy hanging out the window screaming that his kids were in there," Laws told CBS3. “My man just started throwing babies out… and we were catching them, unlike Agholor and all his mishaps. I'd like to put that out there."

No inferno on Earth can burn away the sting of an Eagles loss.
The comments, referencing a few key drops from wide receiver Nelson Agholor on Sunday, instantly went viral, around Philadelphia and across much of the country. "The most Philly thing I've ever seen," was a common refrain around the Internet.

Agholor also had two touchdown catches on Sunday, and led all receivers in the game with eight receptions. This was small consolation.
Agholor has since reached out to Laws and invited him to an Eagles home game.
