Eagles, Love, And Pizza: How Two Fans Reconnected After Fateful Game
It's Red October, the Phillies are winning, the Eagles are 4-0, and the world's most notorious fan base is making love connections happen.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — It's Red October in south Philadelphia. The Phillies lead the Marlins 1-0 in the Wild Card round and are ready for vengeance after coming two wins short of winning it all last year. The Eagles are a perfect 4-0 despite a few imperfect games, and find themselves already heavy favorites for a round 1 playoff bye en route to their own championship revenge tour.
Fall is magic in Philly, and when Philadelphia sports teams soar, Philladelphians are happy.
Take the case of Eagles fan Aliza Phillips, who found herself drunk and hungry while at Lincoln Financial Field for the Birds victory on Sunday.

She glanced around and saw a man nearby with a large slice of pizza. While it's not known what type of pizza it was, what is known are the consequences. The fan, later identified by 6ABC as Phoenixville's Aaron Jones, kindly offered her a bite. She took it. She smiled. Postgame chaos ensued. And the pair vanished from each other into a sea of Kelly and midnight green.
Aliza took to the Philadelphia Eagles Fan Group on Facebook to find her missed love connection.

"Shot in the dark here but I’ve seen the internet work wonders before.. possibly missed connection here," she wrote. 'I was drunk at the game yesterday and this gentleman let me have a bite of his pizza. Would like to buy him one haha. Go birds."
It screamed Philly. The internet responded in kind.
Within hours the post had thousands of shares and hundreds of comments. They found Jones.
The pair wasted no time in connecting. They agreed to meet for a date. They made an Instagram account called "howimetyourfather215." Phillips shared screenshots of their texts.
"Awesome! I owe you a date if you're up for it," she messaged him.
"Of course I am," he replied. "Actually has been a dream of mine to meet my wife drunk leaving a game."
And it's only fitting that their first formal date, Wednesday night, is the only place it could be: Game 2 of the Phillies Wild Card series against the Marlins.
