East Norriton Graduates First Ever Citizens Police Academy
It's the first year that East Norriton has run the program.
EAST NORRITON, PA -- The East Norriton Police Department recently held a graduation ceremony for their inaugural year of their Citizen Police Academy.
Nine "cadets" attended classes at the academy over a period of eight weeks.
The Citizen Police Academy aims to provide citizens with a thorough understanding of how police departments operate.

The curriculum of events included vehicle stops, crime scene investigation, DUI investigation and use of force; all of which provided a "hands on " experience, according to officials.
The graduation ceremony was held on October 24.
