East Norriton To Hold First Ever Citizen Police Academy

Ever wondered how evidence from a crime scene or accident is collected, or perhaps what happens on call when the use of force is required?

EAST NORRITON, PA -- Ever wondered how evidence from a crime scene or accident is collected, or perhaps what happens on call when a use of force is required? Come learn "hands-on and how" your police department works, and the equipment they use and carry.

The East Norriton Township Police Department have announced they will hold their first ever Citizen Police Academy.

The Academy, a mainstay in several neighboring municipalities, is open to East Norriton residents only.

It will run one night a week for seven weeks, from September 21 through October 24.

Applications and specific information is available either through Officer Tom Douglas (tdouglas@eastnorritontwp.org) or by stopping by the Station to pick up an application and information packet.
