East Norriton Man Tried To Arrange Sex With 13-Year-Old Girl: DA

Breaking: two men were arrested for sex crimes against children in Montgomery County, authorities announced Friday.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A pair of men have been arrested in Montgomery County in connection with separate incidents of attempted sexual assault of a child and child pornography, the District Attorney's Office announced on Friday afternoon.

Sicklerville, New Jersey native Troy M. Reese, 32, faces felony charges of criminal intent to commit involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child under 16, statutory sexual assault, and related counts. In addition, Aron Gremore, 38, of the 300 block of Heckler Street in Ambler, faces charges of disseminating child pornography and related counts, the DA said.

East Norriton detectives were conducting an undercover investigation online, posting sex ads in which they posed as a 13-year-old girl, the DA's office said.

Reese responded to the ad and engaged in a series of explicit communications with the detectives, ultimately arranging to meet for sex, the DA said.

Police set up a meeting point in Conshohocken. Reese was arrested upon arrival.

He posted $50,000 bail and was released. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 3.

Grenmore

Authorities in Abington were first alerted to Grenmore during another undercover online investigation on June 8.

A detective located a computer sharing files of child pornography using a BitTorrent network. When the detective connected to this computer, he received 66 video files of children engaged in sexual acts with adults and other children, the DA said.

Further investigation traced the computer to Grenmore's home. He was arrested on Thursday, July 27, did not make $250,000 bail, and was sent to Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

A preliminary hearing for Grenmore is set for Aug. 8.
