Elmwood Park Zoo Oktoberfest Set For Saturday

NORRISTOWN, PA — Craft breweries and wineries will descend on Norristown's Elmwood Park Zoo on Saturday for the 10th annual Oktoberfest.

The event will take place on Sept. 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., organizers said.

Breweries like Troegs, Victory, Evil Genius, and Prism will be on tap throughout the zoo as guests stroll the exhibits and sip their samples.

Live music from local rock band Great Big House will be playing throughout the afternoon.

Food will also be available from the park's vendors.

Hand-feedings of both giraffe and bison will be available.

Tickets are $49 and can be purchased here. The zoo will be closed to regular admission on Saturday during the festival.
