Emergency Crews Rescue Man After Falling From Bridge In Norristown

NORRISTOWN, PA -- A victim was rescued from the banks of Stony Creek in Norristown after falling off a bridge, authorities said.

The incident took place late Monday night, according to officials.

It's not known what caused the man to fall off the bridge on Markley Street, which crosses over the creek.

Police officers worked alongside the Norristown Fire Department and Plymouth Ambulance to safely retrieve the man from the banks.

The victim survived the fall and is recovering.
