Opening Doors to Summer Fun

Opening Doors to Summer Fun, a free family event for children and families to learn about camps and summer programs, will be held April 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Eisenhower Science and Technology Leadership Academy.

Opening Doors to Summer Fun will feature a preview of summer programs that will appeal to actors, artists, sports enthusiasts and science and technology explorers. There will be info about summer food and meal programs, as well as about safe recreation. In addition, children and parents may participate in a community mural project, select books to build their home libraries, and participate in reading activities that promote a love for reading that will last a lifetime. Healthy snacks and small prizes will be available throughout the day.

New and gently used book donations are accepted.
