Fire Breaks Out In Norristown Home Amidst Rainstorm

NORRISTOWN, PA — Crews battled a house fire in Norristown on Monday evening amidst heavy rains.

The incident was first reported around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Main Street and Mill Street, near Restaurante Pico Tacos.

EMS units were on the scene, in addition to fire crews.

Several ladders leaned against the home as crews battled the blaze on the second and third floor.

Companies from several surrounding municipalities are on the scene, including Norristown Fire Department, Plymouth Community Ambulance, Bridgeport Fire Company, Centre Square Fire Company, and Norriton Fire Engine Company are on the scene, among others.
