Using a combination of lecture, poems, and monologues about the women and men who fought for the 19th Amendment which secured women’s right to vote, playwright Christine Emmert takes a personal look at the fight for voting equality.

Christine Emmert is an actress, playwright, director and educator. As a member of the Outreach Program for Hopewell Furnace National Park she both writes and acts. You can access her blog at christineemrt.wordpress.com.
