The Montgomery County - Norristown Public Library will host a series of three classes on genealogy. John Shinpaugh, a long time family researcher, will teach Journeys in Genealogy: Lessons to Learn, Genealogy: Using the Internet, and Genealogical Data: Fact or Fiction? Helpful topics include surname clarification, migration concerns, genealogical websites, evaluation factors, and data analysis.
John Shinpaugh acquired his analytical skills during his Air Force Career in the field of Intelligence. These skills aided him immensely in his successful compilation of several of his ancestor families.
