Norristown has been an epicenter of transportation development in the last several years. Perhaps most notably, the Lafayette Street interchange project has received $66 million from PennDOT to fund work through 2024. The new interchange will be a full on/off connection located between the existing Valley Forge and Norristown exits, and will be designed to utilize the Turnpike’s cashless tolling system.

Governor Wolf is expected to speak at around 2:30 p.m.
