Why go: “Springtime in Paris” offers fun and beauty for all ages at the annual Philadelphia International Flower Show. Family nights are March 11 and 12, with entertainment, crafts, children's activities and face painting.
Price: $15 for kids, $26-$28 for adults
Where/When: Norristown Area elementary schools; Ongoing through March 11, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why go: Registration for the 2011-2012 school year takes place this week. Children must be 5 by Sept. 1, and proof of birth, residency and immunizations is required.

Where/When: Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library, 1001 Powell St., Norristown; March 11, 4 to 5 p.m.
Why Go?: Game Day is for teens ages 12 to 18. Challenge a friend to a Wii or X-Box 360 game, and make new friends!

Why go: The library will host a St. Patrick’s Day-themed storytime, with crafts and activities for ages 3 to 5. To register, call the library or visit the Youth Services department.

Where/When: ACPPA Community Art Center, 506 Haws Ave., Norristown; March 16, from 7 to 8 p.m.
Why go: Take a high-intensity Zumba class for all ages. Zumba is the Latin-inspired dance-fitness program, blending red-hot international, Latin-fused music.
Price: $5 per class or $12 for four classes
