Gypsy Saloon to Host Papal Party on 9.27

Pope-induced frenzy has officially hit the “City of Brotherly Love”. Some are excited, some are anxious and some are down right determined to avoid it altogether.

However, at Gypsy Saloon, where many customers will literally be trapped in the quaint town of Conshohocken (after all, the city is shutting down its major roadways and the majority of the public transportation), Gypsy owners Kim Strengari and Marianne Gere decided to celebrate this once-in-a lifetime event with “The Papal Party” on Sunday, September 27.

The event will kick off at 10 AM with the “Papal Brunch”, which will include a brand new brunch menu as well as bottomless mimosas, screw drivers and bloody Mary’s until 2 PM. It will then be followed by the Eagles vs. The Jets brand new Tailgate menu and the 4 PM Live Mass on the Parkway, which will be broadcast on all of the TVs.

Throughout the day, Gypsy will also be unveiling its exciting “Pope-U-Lar” Cocktail List that includes such drinks as The Pope-Sicle (Orange Juice, Vanilla Stoli over ice), The Papel-Tini (Vanilla Martini), The Pope-A-Cola (Vanilla Stoli or Cherry Stoli and Cola) and many more!

Gypsy Saloon is ending the evening on a high note as it offers all-you-can eat mussels starting at 5 PM! Gypsy Saloon will also be hosting live music Friday and Saturday night before “The Papal Party”.
