Heavy Traffic After Schuylkill Expressway Crash In Upper Merion

UPPER MERION, PA — An accident on the Schuylkill Expressway in Upper Merion has led to significant traffic in the area.

The incident occurred at about 1:26 p.m. near the Trinity Lane underpass, according to authorities.

Swedeland Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 was among the crews to respond to the scene, along with VMSC of Lower Merion and Narberth.

Traffic is very heavy and stop and go on 76 westbound between Gulph Mills and the 202 interchange. Motorists should expect delays and consider alternate routes.
