Help Rebuild the Montgomery County SPCA After Destructive Fire

The Montgomery County SPCA was severely damaged in a fire last week. Here's how you can help.

The Montgomery County SPCA in Conshohocken was severely damaged in a fire last week, and a fundraiser has been launched to help rebuild the building.

Although all animals were safely evacuated from the shelter while the fire spread, the blaze caused enough damage that the facility cannot presently be used.

In the meantime, animals have been taken to the SPCA locations in Abington and Perkiomenville.

However, the organization is not able to take in animals at the same rate that it could before, and workers are hoping the new building will be reconstructed quickly.

A GoFundMe has been launched in support of the project with a $10,000 goal. To donate or to learn more, see here.
