Historical Society of Montgomery County Features Unique Photograph Collections

The photographic collection of the Society includes tens of thousands of photos that cover a long history of events, people, and places.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- The photographic collection of the Historical Society of Montgomery County has tens of thousands of photographs that cover a wide span of events, people, and places from the county. Pairings will highlight this collection and illustrate its breadth.

The exhibit features 25 pairings of photographs as well as other unique photographs from the collections.

The exhibit which is free and open to the public opens April 23 and runs through August 2016. The Historical Society of Montgomery County, located at 1654 DeKalb Street, Norristown, is handicapped accessible.

The exhibit will be available for public viewing Mondays and Thursdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 1 p.m.-8 p.m. and most Saturdays. Please contact the Society for Saturday hours.
