Duct Tape Crafts – 2:00 pm – Come make some fun creations using duct tape. For children in grades K-6. Norristown area schools early dismissal day activity. Drop in.

Summer Reading Club – Win prizes for reading! Pick up a summer reading log in the Children’s Department and keep track of the minutes you read. For every two hours you read or have been read to, you win a free book and a chance to win a bicycle or a $50 Barnes & Noble gift certificate. (Maximum 10 free books per child.) For children ages 0-12.

Build! –10:30 am-12:00 pm -- Create and build using a variety of great materials for the budding engineer: LEGO, K’Nex, Straws & Connectors, and more! For children entering grades K-6—children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Drop in.

Yoga-Music Fusion – 10:30 am - Join Miss Tammy from Children’s Music Express for fun with music and an introduction to Yoga. Ages 2-5. Registration required—please stop by the Children’s Department or call to sign up. Registration begins June 1.

Monday Movies – 1:00 pm – Join us to watch some family favorites (rated G or PG). Movies will be shown on a large screen in the community room on the first floor. All ages. (No movie July 20.)

KidsMake – Hands-on learning with some of the hottest technology available today! Featuring LittleBits circuits, an introduction to computer programming, 3D printing, and stop-motion video production with i-Pads. For kids entering grades 3-6. A parent-signed release form is required to register. Registration begins June 1.

Leaping Lizards! – 10:30 am – Animal fun with stories, songs, and movement for the older toddler and preschool child. Ages 2-5 with a caregiver. Drop in.

Crafternoon – 3:00 pm – Are you super creative? Come in for some spectacular crafts, including paracord bracelets, rainbow loom, nature crafts, duct tape creations, craft stick art, and more! For kids entering grades 1-6. First come, first served. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Baby Lap Rap – 9:30 am OR 10:30am - Simple stories, songs, rhymes and fingerplays for your baby and you! Ages 0-24 months with a caregiver. Drop in.

Super Stories and More – 10:30am - Stories, songs, fingerplays and simple games for the active toddler and early preschool child. Ages 2-4 with a caregiver. Drop in.

KidsMake: CreateSpace – 2:00 pm – Have you earned a badge at a KidsMake workshop? Equipment and materials are available for kids to work on projects of their own choosing. For kids entering grades 3-6. Drop in for children who have earned a badge at a previously attended workshop.

Pajama Storytime – 7:00 pm – Stories, songs, and fun for families! Geared for children ages 0-6. Drop in. (No program July 2.)

Roll Over and Read! – 11:00 am – 1:00 pm – Elementary age kids can read to specially trained dogs. Bring your own book or read one of ours. For kids entering grades K-6. Drop in.

Fridays, June 26 through August 7

Sew Awesome! – 3:00 pm – Learn basic hand and machine sewing techniques and work on a new project, or dream up your own creation! A parent-signed release form is required to register. Registration starts June 1. Class size is limited to 12 participants. For children entering grades 3-6. (No class July 3.)
