LETTER: Too Many Crashes At Norristown Intersection

Residents are upset at a rise in accidents at a Norristown intersection which they say are caused by speeding.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Residents in a Norristown neighborhood are upset at a rise in accidents at a local intersection which they say are caused by speeding.

The intersection in question? Airy and High Streets.

One Patch reader submitted the following letter to Patch following an accident this week, which is captured in the photo above:

"Another car crash at the Airy and High intersection. It happens very often. Speeding cars on Airy street is the main reason for all these accidents. We need the 25 miles speed limit to be strictly enforced. We also need more stop signs and traffic light. The safety of Norristown residents should be the main concern of our Municipal authorities. Norristown residents should get the same respect as other neighbors in the area (Plymouth Meeting, Blue Bell, etc) get."
