ASTRONOMICAL MONSTROSITIES (FAMILY SHOW)
Come dressed as your favorite god, goddess, or monster as we search out these amazing characters and creatures. Our sky is filled with astronomical monstrosities of sorts including, dragons, serpents, lizards, snakes and an array of chimerical creatures. Join us as the storm clouds clear and we share some of the sights and stories of the late fall sky, sights we may see above us on Halloween night. Family show but may be too scary for children under age 6.

CELESTIAL HIGHLIGHTS
For 25 years the leading presentation at the Hayden Planetarium in New York celebrated the night sky with this live interactive star presentation. Mr. Williams, our planetarium director, presented this for 8 of those years. He now brings this “Tour de Force” of the night sky to our community. See this presentation as never before in our new digital planetarium. This presentation highlights constellations of the season, celestial sights of interest over the next few months, planets and phenomena visible in the night sky.

OASIS IN SPACE
Water: our most precious resource. Without it, life could not exist on our planet. Is the reverse also true? If we search for water, will we also find life? Join us as we explore our solar system and discover what makes our world stand out among the Sun’s family of planets. Stunning imagery will captivate you as we journey to, and sometimes even below, the surfaces of our neighbor worlds to discover whether or not life might be possible beyond our home planet.

The Community Education Program is under the auspices of the Methacton School District, is self-supporting, and is a not-for-profit organization.
