Man Charged In Norristown Home Invasion That Left One Dead
One of two masked men suspected in a fatal home invasion in Norristown has been arrested. Another suspect remains on the loose.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A man has been charged in connection with an April home invasion in Norristown that left one victim dead.
Brandon M. Thompson, 32, of Norristown and Harleysville, faces second and third degree murder charges in the case, which led to the death of local resident Alonzo J. Anthony.
The incident occurred on April 2 at around 10:53 p.m. on the 300 block of Fornance Street.

Thompson was one of two masked men who broke into the apartment, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
As the pair entered, they fired several shots that killed Anthony. They then stole marijuana, cash, and a cellphone before fleeing the scene.

Thompson was also charged with burglary, robbery, and related counts. No bail is available for second degree murder, and he was booked at Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
