Man Shot In Norristown Early Sunday: Cops

NORRISTOWN, PA — Police are investigating after a man was shot early Sunday morning in Norristown.

The incident occurred at around 4:16 a.m. on the 800 block of Smith Street, authorities said.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are not yet clear.

The victim was treated by paramedics on the scene and then taken to a nearby hospital. He survived the shooting but his present condition is unknown.

Police said the victim was an adult male, but further details on his identity have not yet been released.
