Man Who Sexually Abused Norristown Children Sentenced

NORRISTOWN, PA -- A man who sexually abused children in Norristown is heading to prison.

John J. Collins, 26, of Jacksonville, Florida will spend the next five to 12 years in state prison, according to Montgomery News.

Collins assaulted at least two boys on multiple occasions, according to reports.

One of the boys was first assaulted when he was about five years old, when Collins pulled him into a bed and put his penis in the boy’s mouth, the report states.

Collins reportedly threatened violence to the boys when they asked him to stop.

A different boy reportedly recalled a game where he spun around, and when he stopped, he had to put whatever he was facing in his mouth.

Collins received the designation of a sexually violent predator and will be required to be registered on the sex offender database for the rest of his life.
