Missing Delco Teen Could Be In Norristown: Authorities

The missing girl's family said she could have made it from Upper Darby to Montgomery County.

A teenage girl has been missing from her Upper Darby home since Aug. 6 and her family said she may be in the Norristown area. Authorities, as well as her family, are urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact them immediately.

Sophie M. Pizzi, 16, of Upper Darby, was last seen leaving her home at 4 p.m., Sunday Aug. 6, according to Upper Darby Police.

Police shared a Facebook post from the missing girl's mother, who said her daughter is 16 years old, 5-feet 6-inches tall, and weighs 130 pounds.

Pizzi's family said their daughter is diagnosed with Asperger's and bipolar disorder and does not have her medication.

The family said she could also be in the Pottstown area.
