Montco Bar Association Issues Judge Recommendations for 2017 Election
The Montgomery County Bar Associations has issued recommendations for the the open judge spot on the Court of Common Pleas.

The Montgomery County Bar Associations has issued recommendations for the the open judge spot on the Court of Common Please.
The Association's Judiciary Committee, composed of 30 lawyers, is in charge of interviewing and rating candidates for the opening.
"Each candidate is evaluated individually and not as compared to other candidates," the association's guidelines read. "The purpose of the ratings is to educate the public as to how the candidate’s peers view them as possibly becoming judges, and to assist the electorate in their evaluation of judicial candidates on Election Day."

Ratings are divided into categories of highly recommended, recommended, or not recommended.
