Montco DA Steele Named Among 24 'Distinguished PA Leaders'
Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele has been named one of 24 "Distinguished Leaders" in Pennsylvania.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele has been named one of 24 "Distinguished Leaders" in Pennsylvania.
The awards were disbursed by The Legal Intelligencer, the oldest law journal in the nation.
"District Attorney Kevin Steele is proud to be named one of 24 Distinguished Leaders in Pennsylvania by The Legal Intelligencer," the DA's office said in a statement. "He thanks his dedicated team of prosecutors and detectives who join him in receiving this award."

The list recognizes lawyers who have demonstrated leadership and "impressive results." Award winners were selected by The Legal Intelligencer's editorial staff and outside experts. Winners ranged from private practice to pro-bono attorneys, and recognized leaders working in government, education, and other nonprofit settings.
A number of high profile cases that have garnered national attention have come through Montgomery County under Steele's helm, including the Bill Cosby and Kathleen Kane trials.

Steele has also aggressively pursued solutions to the opioid epidemic sweeping the county and nation, promoting drug take back days, equipping police forces with Naloxone, and charging drug dealers with criminal homicide.
