Montco DA's Office To Hold Holiday Drive To Support SPCA
In between prosecuting animal cruelty cases, Montgomery County ADAs are giving local dogs and cats a helping hand this holiday season.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Local dogs and cats are getting a helping hand this holiday season from the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
The DA's office will hold their 10th Annual SPCA Support Drive from Dec. 1, 2016 through Jan. 3, 2017 to support the Montgomery County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Animal toys, canned dog and cat food, animal blankets, towels and other items are being collected at three boxes in the Montgomery County Courthouse and one at the entrance to One Montgomery Plaza.

“We stand up for abused and neglected animals in court and fight for their humane treatment. We try to assure that all animals are treated with kindness according to the law,” said O’Brien. “As winter is fast approaching, we also want to remind people to bring in their animals from the cold and make sure they have fresh water that isn’t iced over when they are outside.”
To report suspected animal cruelty, Montgomery County residents
should contact their local police department or the Montgomery County SPCA
at 610-825-0111.
