Montco Middle School Teacher Sentenced For Sexually Assaulting Minors
A Montgomery County middle school teacher has been sentenced to prison after having sexual relations with two 9th grade girls.
SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A Montgomery County middle school teacher has been sentenced to prison after having sexual relations with two 9th grade girls.
Springfield Township Middle School social studies teacher Jason Gattuso, 40, will spend the next six to 12 years behind bars, according to court documents. He had pleaded guilty to charges of sex with a minor and indecent sexual assault months ago.
The sexual contact occurred when the victims were 14 and 15 years old, respectively, authorities said. The contact happened in Gattuso's car, one of the victim's homes, and in other locations, according to the DA.

Officials said the Springfield Township School District was cooperative with the investigation.
Gattuso was also sentenced to five years probation, court documents show.
