Montco Sheriff Touts Diversity of New Hires
Sheriff Kilkenny said the hiring of two African-Americans and two females reflects his promise to "bring more diversity to the office."

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office highlighted the diversity of six new hires during a ceremony on Friday.
Three of six recently hired deputies were sworn in on Friday, July 8 at 2 p.m. at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
"Considering the diverse population that we serve, I want our staff to represent all of the citizens of Montgomery County,” said Sheriff Sean P. Kilkenny. “This latest group of six hires includes two African Americans and two females.”

- Dep. Brandi N. Schuettler of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania is ACT 120 certified through the Municipal Police Officers’ Training Academy. She holds a bachelor of arts in psychologyfrom Temple University.
- Dep. Sandra A. Henderson of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania is a former transportationsecurity agent at the Philadelphia airport and will attend the Penn State Deputy SheriffEducation and Training program.
- Dep. Daniel W. Gorham of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania is a former U.S. Marine Corps Vehicle Commander, Engine Specialist and Radio Operator, and a graduate of the U.S.Marine Corps School of Leadership. He is ACT 120 certified through the Municipal Police Officers’ Training Academy.
