Montco's Best Pizza Tourney Down To Sweet 16

Voting for round three, the Sweet 16, has opened in Montgomery County Best Pizza Tournament.
The March Madness-style competition is organized by the Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board. All told, 64 pizza shops entered. Now, as round three begins, only 16 remain.

- Vince and Friends of East Greenville vs. Giovanni's Pizza in Royersford
- Penny's Pizza in Limerick vs. Main Pizza in Collegeville
- Angelo's Pizza in King of Prussia vs. Franzone's Pizza and Restaurant in Bridgeport
- Via Veneto Pizza of Norristown vs. Vito's Pizza of King of Prussia
- Vino's Pizza of Layafette Hill vs. Vinny's Piazzarama of Hatfield
- Tony and Joe's of Conshohocken vs. Tony's Pizza and Pasta of Plymouth Meeting
- Palermo Pizza of Blue Bell vs. Bravo Pizza of Worcester
- Tavern at Valley Forge of Audubon vs. Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza of Blue Bell
To cast your vote in the Sweet 16 of the 2018 tournament, see here. Voting for Round 3 will close on March 19 at 10 p.m.
It's the third year of the tournament, which began in 2016. The defending champion is Chiaro's Pizza, based in Green Lane, which defeated King of Prussia's Angelo's Pizza in the final last year. Bravo Pizza in Worcester and Bacco Italian Restaurant in North Wales also made it to the Final Four.

Chiaro's also won the crown in 2016, but they are not in the mix for the 2018 title.
